Last Thursday I asked God what I should teach the children in Bible Class that day. He brought to my mind a prayer I needed to share with them. I wrote it out and dictated it to them having each of them write it on their own sheet of paper. I told them to use this prayer when they were in trouble. I described how it had helped me in different situations. After they were finished writing I told them to fold up the paper, put it in their pocket, take it home and use it when they needed help.
That same night God gave me a dream that I believe was just for the children. I actually had the dream around 5:00 am. In my dream I was walking along a wide sidewalk in a city. A man came toward me and started attacking me. Several more men were with him. More men started attacking me and I knew I was in trouble. I cried out in my mind, “I claim the blood of Jesus” and immediately I woke up.
The next day, which was Friday, I told the children about the dream and that I thought God gave it to me just for them. The prayer I prayed in my dream was a shortened version of the prayer I had dictated to the children the previous day.
The following Monday a 7th grade girl said, “You know the prayer you gave us, IT WORKED!!” What a great God we have. I have learned that there is POWER in the “blood of Jesus.”
It Worked!!!
